​Some other hints to keeping your pool or spa clean are:

  • Keep ducks and dogs out of your pool- This will adversely affect your water balance and quality. 
  • Keep the Pool or Spa and surrounding areas clean - Having garden beds and landscaped areas around a pool or spa can certainly add visual appeal, but keeping these areas tidy will aid in the maintenance of your pool water balance and a clean healthy pool.  

  • Keep your filtration system clean - You can maximize the efficiency of your cleaning system and prolong the life of your pump and filter by regularly cleaning the pool's filtration system.  It is a simple process:  empty and clean the pump, the skimmer baskets and all filter screens.
    Regularly check the pressure gauge. If you notice a decrease in water circulation or a higher than normal pressure is evident, backwash the filter.
